This Engineering Business is looking for a strong Financial Controller.

This individual will manage a team of 10 people, to include a project accountant, a cost allocation accountant, a payments person and a payments allocation manager. The project itself is worth approx. £700 million. This role is the senior point of contact for all senior contracts. This individual must be able to understand contractual obligations. They don’t do accrural based accounting, A lot of the work will involve cost control, project accounting and gross margin calculations. The role will be working with SAP and excel.

Specific key tasks will involve overseeing the completion of Management/Financial Accounting including the production of statutory accounts, review all financial aspects of bids, calculating forecasts to completion for all programmes, gross margins and cashflows for contracts in multi currencies. The candidate must be qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA with experience in construction/engineering or manufacturing.
