This large FTSE 500 organisation is looking for a strong ACA/ACCA Accountant to work in their corporate HQ in London. The role will require the individual to prepare full consolidated  accounts (with segmental reporting) and management information for multiple entities for internal and external purposes, prepare internal management reports and the financial sections of interim and annual reports and deal with multi-currency exposure. The role will have an element of Financial Analysis where there will be a requirement for the production of monthly commentary and analysis to high level management. The role works closely with Systems Accountants, therefore strong IT skills and knowledge IBM Cognos is necessary.

The ideal candidate will have strong academics with a good university and from a top 10 practice who have audited large companies and PLCs. Experience working in a team towards its common objective and deadlines. Exposure to group reporting and consolidations of UK and overseas subsidiaries in IFRS and UK GAAP. This role is likely to be interviewing very soon, so applications need to be submitted ASAP.
