This West End based media company is looking for a Commercial Manager to assist the Finance Director in the evaluation of business opportunities, structure deals and start-ups, set up, and assist with its business ventures on an on-going basis.

The company is looking for a bright, energetic and dynamic person to strengthen its finance team. Someone who can take the workload and expertise off the FD who currently undertakes the accounting, modelling, eventuating opportunities and structuring them for tax and fully legal compliance (in all jurisdictions).

The role will also require the individual to identify and manage risks, and have sound business acumen which will enable the Company to boosts performance and profitability.

The individual will lead on ensuring that sound financial management and reporting is in place in all of its ventures and that problems are addressed and resolved immediately.

The Company is supported by professional advice from Deloitte, Oswang, and other legal and accounting expertise as required. Therefore being able to work well and to have the confidence to deal with the professional service providers is key.

The ideal candidate will have good academics and have worked for medium size companies. They must possess excellent communication and problem solving skills. Management skills, and the ability to develop others so they can achieve more would be valued. This role is likely to be interviewing very soon, so applications need to be submitted ASAP.
