Main responsibilities:

  • Support internal and external financial reporting for the Group and maintain appropriate control policies;
  • Support the production of the Group’s quarterly and annual reports for presentation to stakeholders together with any associated presentations;
  • Forecast future covenant positions as part of the budgeting and forecasting process;
  • Planning and executing the quarterly public results announcement by acting as a liaison between the conference management company and the business;
  • Taking full ownership of all group cashflow reporting in various forms to multiple stakeholders;
  • Proactively managing treasury operations, making sure borrowing is planned, within facility limits and costs are kept to a minimum;
  • Completion of international weekly cashflow forecast;
  • Support integration of new businesses;
  • Support the delivery of timely and accurate monthly management reporting pack, responding to queries from international subsidiaries and head office management and ensure integrity of numbers.

Global Accounting Network are working with a PE backed, entertainment business who are a prominent leader in their field and have a value of over £2bn. A truly international organisation, our client operates in several European and Asian countries. Recent growth has been fuelled by a number of acquisitions in both late 2018 and early 2019.

This is a prominent position within the Group Financial Control team. The primary responsibilities are the preparation and reporting of the consolidated management and financial results in a timely manner ensuring accuracy and integrity in the numbers to multiple stakeholders and treasury reporting, cash and debt facility management and compliance.

Skills/experience required 

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with treasury experience;
  • Experience within a multi-currency reporting environment;
  • Previous experience with consolidations;
  • Working knowledge of cashflow reporting in a business environment;
  • Technically minded with a strong working knowledge of IFRS;
  • An ability to understand and modify complex Excel models;
  • Experience in introducing new processes to reduce risk, improve efficiency of reporting and aid management decision making;
  • Able to work with foreign subsidiaries to ensure Group objectives are met and deadlines adhered to.
