Main responsibilities:

  • Journal entries covering bank statements for 30-multi-currency bank accounts (across various subsidiaries covering cash receipts, credit card, debit card, suppliers and non-supplier payments) on a daily, weekly, monthly basis
  • Maintain FX forward contracts
  • Post intercompany transactions
  • Manage foreign currencies balances and initiate intercompany payments in various currencies
  • Monthly reconciliation of all bank accounts
  • P&L analysis for FX
  • Assist in cashflow forecasting
  • Raising non-supplier payments
  • Point of contact of Bank related amendments and quires
  • Investigate difference and unreconciled transactions, including coordinating with other departments
  • Post non-polled refunds processed by Customer Service and web related channels

We are actively seeking a bright, ambitious and motivated accounts assistant who will gain exposure across the overall finance function. We are looking for someone who has a good attitude and will fit right in with the bubbly and outgoing team.

The Treasury Accounts Assistant position reports to the Treasury Accounting Supervisor and will work closely with the AP, AR and Financial reporting teams on various daily and monthly responsibilities. We are looking for someone be flexible and willing to assist with any tasks or projects that arise in the Treasury part of Finance Department, including assisting the Financial Planning & Analysis Department when needed mainly in relation to cash flow forecasting. 

Skills/experience required 

  • Degree in Accounting or similar with a minimum of two years of experience
  • Fantastic time management and ability to prioritize and effectively meet deadlines
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Self-starter and motivated, with strong 
  • Retail background is a plus
