Main responsibilities:

  • Provide senior level financial decision support within the functions and commercial insight to the leadership teams;
  • Influence relevant stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of the strategy and financial targets;
  • Interface directly into regional structure from a functional standpoint, influencing and collaborating as required;
  • A key communicator between digital, finance and commercial teams;
  • Support the review and oversight of functional planning, budgeting and re-forecasting;
  • Lead the Digital month end process and monthly reporting pack;
  • Responsible to both the function and to other group functions for the provision and integrity of all financial and management reports relating to digital;
  • Supports a robust controls environment;
  • Translates functional objectives into robust financial plans, business targets and KPIs;
  • Responsible for functional planning, budgeting and re-forecasting from both a cost and revenue perspective.

Global Accounting Network are working with a global consumer business who are a prominent leader in their field and operate across the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions. Our client is part of a wider group that is listed on the London Stock Exchange (FTSE 250).

This is a prominent position in the company’s Northamptonshire operation and will see the successful candidate act as a key finance business partner, helping support the strategic direction of the functions and providing clear insight into performance and execution.

They will also drive a commercial mindset within the Digital and Marketing teams whilst leading in a digital first agenda across the wider finance team.


  • Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent);
  • Demonstrates commercial expertise and knowledge of digital operations gained within a digitally enabled company;
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong experience of interpreting data in succinct and digestible insight;
  • Exposure at Senior Management level. Able to forge effective working relationships around the leadership team in a constructive and supportive manner;
  • Developed successful relationships with group stakeholders and with internal colleagues at all levels within a company, ideally within a matrix based structure;
  • Worked in an International organisation, able to demonstrate good cultural awareness and appreciation;
  • Strong exposure to digital and marketing functions including PPC, SEO, Operations and analytics.
