Main responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Maintain and reconcile financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
Assist in cost control and financial reporting for various hotel departments.
Collaborate with department heads to monitor financial performance and provide recommendations.
Continuously improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Global Accounting Network are partnered with a renowned hotel, looking for an assistant accountant to support their fast paced team for a 3 month period.

This is a 3-month contract, based 5 days per week in their central London office!

Skills/experience required:

Experience in a similar finance or accounting role, within the hospitality or hotel industry
Have experience in an Accounts Payable position previously
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
