Main responsibilities:

Work closely with the financial control team to ensure ongoing tax compliance across existing and new jurisdictions within Europe
Stay up to date with any changing rules and legislation, ensuring processes are documented and rolled out to the business
Assist with the implementation of a new VAT module in the existing ERP
Become the SME for all VAT related matters across the European region

Global Accounting Network are working with a well renowned, global logistics and supply chain business. Due to ongoing internal transformation, they are now looking to hire a European VAT Manager into this newly created role.

Skills/experience required:

Qualified accountant (CTA/ACA etc)

Experience with European VAT, ideally across multiple jurisdictions

Experience in indirect tax accounting and reporting

Practice background highly desirable

Passionate about systems, automation, and process improvements
