Main responsibilities:

  • Reconciling the daily cash sheets,
  • Producing daily cash sales reports to management,
  • Preparing and sending out daily reports,
  • Processing monthly rebates to customers,
  • Managing contract support invoices and credit notes to customers,
  • Preparing and sending monthly sales reports to suppliers,
  • Producing monthly sales reports by branch,
  • Assisting the Finance Manager with monthly operational KPI’s,
  • Assisting in margin reporting and carrying out other duties which fall within reasonable expectations of the role.

Global Accounting Network are partnered exclusively with a fast-growth business based in their head office near to Romford to recruit for a Finance Assistant to join their team, initially on a temporary basis, with a view of becoming permanent. The company have shown strong organic growth in recent years and this position is newly created to support with the current finance function. Substantial investment has been made in people and culture, combined with well-located, maintained and modern premises, which has given the business a great platform to succeed. Reporting into the Head of Finance, this would be an exciting opportunity for somebody keen to progress their career in finance.

The ideal candidate will be 

  • Studying towards AAT or early on in their ACCA or CIMA studies. 
  • An autonomous individual with analytical capabilities who can take ownership of the finance function and support a growing business. 
  • Previous experience working with Excel and PowerPoint would be beneficial.
