Main responsibilities:

  • Design business and finance processes on change projects, across both IT and non-IT initiatives.
  • Maintain a robust financial control environment.
  • Deliver, lead and advise on significant operational projects for the business, influencing other non¬ finance teams to achieve a successful completion.
  • Produce and improve timely and insightful management accounts for the required monthly deadlines.
  • Take ownership of financial processing (i.e. accounts payable, credit control, etc,) to deliver best in class service levels and efficient transaction processing.
  • Deliver continuous improvement in the efficiency, quality and consistency of accounting and reporting.
  • Manage the adoption of a new ERP system.
  • Oversee the annual audit process, tax and other regulatory reporting processes.
  • Lead and support the development for the finance team. Cultivate a high performing finance team with success plans in place at every level.
  • Deputise for the Group CFO and collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop and embed clear standards of quality and service.

The role will suit qualified accountants with team leadership experience, alongside owning management accounts and ideally ERP implementation experience. A true value add opportunity to business partner and work with senior leadership on strategy.

Skills/experience required: 

  • Has designed and produced timely and accurate management accounts.
  • Strong technical knowledge of AP, AR, Finance systems and reporting.
  • Strong treasury and FX knowledge including hedging.
  • Knowledge of payment gateways, solutions and fraud protections.
  • Experience of leading and developing Financial teams.
  • Business partnering & strategic skills - ability to challenge and influence at senior levels
  • Strong modeling and excel skills with ability to process and summarise large amounts of data.
  • Experience of implementing ERP systems.
