Main responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver monthly management and trading review packs.
  • Own and refine financial and operating models, ensuring accuracy and adaptability.
  • Lead the group-wide budget and cash flow forecasting processes.
  • Evaluate new projects, including CapEx spending and IRR analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve management information and reporting.
  • Support board-level reporting and contribute to presentations for senior stakeholders and external analysts.

This FP&A Analyst role offers a balance of operational and strategic responsibilities, making it an ideal opportunity for a candidate with strong financial modelling and commercial acumen. You’ll support decision-making across the business by producing high-quality management information, evaluating key projects, and partnering with senior stakeholders. Reporting directly to the Head of FP&A, this role offers exposure to board-level reporting and high-value CapEx projects in a dynamic and evolving sector.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Fully qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience.
  • Expertise in financial modelling and advanced Excel.
  • Experience with CapEx evaluation and project appraisals.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work on both detailed and high-level tasks.
  • Proven ability to liaise with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Industry experience in infrastructure, energy, or similar capital-intensive sectors preferred.
