Main responsibilities:

  • Duties in this Junior Finance Analyst job will include
  • Developing strong relationships with key contacts across the business including marketing, events and operations,
  • Developing relationships with external stakeholders,
  • Supporting with the review, accounting and invoicing of events,
  • Reporting variances against budget,
  • Updating the sales forecast,
  • Supporting with the production of P&L's and reporting,
  • Challenging business partners on driving profit improvements,
  • Processing credit card submissions,
  • Raising and processing sales and purchase invoices,
  • Supporting with the calculation of revenue and costs accruals,
  • Supporting with budget preparation,
  • Assisting with system developments,
  • Reviewing and flagging aged debtors,
  • Closing of the sales ledger monthly and supporting with strategic decision making using financial modeling and scenario analysis to support proposals.

This Junior Finance Analyst job would suit somebody who has begun studying ACCA or CIMA or completed AAT. Experience with Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable is essential as a minimum but ideally some experience of month end reporting or analytical work would be beneficial. An ability to think critically is imperative.

Skills/experience required

  • Previous experience in an accounts receivable or payable capacity
  • A drive to develop analytical skills
  • Previous experience of managing internal or external stakeholder relationships
  • Could suit an ACCA or CIMA studier
