Main responsibilities:

Ownership of the month end process
Preparation of monthly management accounts, including the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
VAT returns and submission to HMRC
Year end audit and statutory accounts preparation
Business partnering with budget holders including analysis of variances

Global Accounting Network are currently recruiting for a Unicorn Tech company who have grown massively and are due to IPO in the next 12-18 months (listing at a very impressive market capitalisation).

Leading up to the business getting ready to enter the public markets they are looking for a Management Accountant to join the team, helping the business drive both the commercial and financial agenda.

Skills/experience required:

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent desirable

Accounts preparation experience including preparation of financial statements and month end close

Experience preparing budgets and forecasts
