Payroll Manager

Global Accounting Network are partnered exclusively with a well-established multi-disciplinary construction contractor to recruit for an experienced Payroll Manager. The successful candidate will join the company on a permanent basis and gain valuable experience in a stable role. The company have been growing for many years as experts in their field and pride themselves on building a collaborative partnership with their clients.

This Payroll job is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with previous experience in Payroll, looking for more responsibility within a stable team. You will form part of a finance team consisting of around 4-5 employees and be responsible for payroll. Responsibilities in this payroll job will include implementing systems and processes to replace the manual processes currently in place. This means the successful Payroll candidate may have the opportunity in the future to support the finance team with a wider range of duties and gain further valuable experience should they wish. 

Skills/experience required

• Previous experience as a payroll manager or sole payroller would be ideal
• Some experience with implementation of systems
• Strong communication skills
• CIPP qualification, or qualified through experience
• Experience within the construction sector would be beneficial
