Main responsibilities:

  • This Purchase ledger role will form part of a finance team of 4-5 and support with all associated payables duties including:
  • Dealing with Purchase Orders
  • Loading invoices onto the system
  • Overseeing sub-contractor invoices and payments
  • Resolving invoice queries
  • Supplier statement reconciliation
  • Preparing payment runs
  • Various other ad-hoc tasks

The successful candidate will join the company on a permanent basis and gain valuable experience in a stable role. Skills/Experience Required

  • Ideally previous purchase ledger/accounts payable experience 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Be a hardworking individual 
  • Experience in the construction sector would be beneficial
  • Ideally prepared to work 5 days per week in the office in Rainham
  • 2 weeks’ notice maximum would be preferred, as this would allow a more seamless role handover
