Main responsibilities:

  • Annual Planning: Support the development of the annual Internal Audit plan through comprehensive risk assessment and stakeholder engagement, defining the scope of audit engagements and agreeing on timelines.
  • Audit Fieldwork: Conduct audits in accordance with our methodology and standards to identify and assess risks, control weaknesses, and improvement opportunities.
  • Reporting: Present findings to stakeholders and prepare clear, concise reports for senior management and the Board, highlighting findings, recommendations, and remediation actions.
  • Follow-up: Oversee the implementation of agreed management actions, ensuring resolution within agreed timeframes and conducting follow-up audits to assess corrective action adequacy.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, evaluating their impact on internal audit and the broader organization.

I am partnered with a growing, listed business to find a highly technical, detail oriented, Senior Group Reporting Manager to join their team, based in Central London. This is an intellectually stimulating and technically challenging role as you will act as the arbiter of the financial reporting. In this role you will have ownership of the month end group consolidated reporting, and partner with the Internal Audit team to help bridge the gaps in controls. You will also manage and present the month end reporting process, year end and half year interim results.

Skills/experience required:

Must-Have:

  • Proven experience consolidated month end reporting within a large group structure
  • Ownership of the monthly reporting cycle.
  • Proficiency in identifying risks, process gaps, and control deficiencies
  • Proven experience of implementing processes in month reporting to ensure no gaps in controls
  • Strong communication and presenting skills

Desirable:

  • Experience in monthly reporting from a US-listed, SOX-compliant environment.
