Finance & Accounting Operations Manager

Global Accounting Network are partnered with an international leading independent energy company to source a Finance & Accounting Operations Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to mange a robust team and act as the interlink between Business Operations and Accounting. 

In this role you will be responsible for the Finance Accounting Operation activities within the UK regional function. This will include IFRS and UK GAAP and preparation of statutory accounts. You will also manage the Accounts Receivable/Payable, general ledger accounting.

The experience required:

1. Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA or similar)
2. Experience in industry (preferably oil and gas but not essential)
3. People management and development skills
4. IFRS and UK GAAP
5. Statutory Accounting experience
6. Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management are required.
7. Experience using SAP, Microsoft Excel

 The person:

1. Worked in a Group organisation before so understands the structure, communication, and culture of working at group level (not to do consolidation)
2. Proactive and motivated person with a drive to improve Finance Accounting Operations processes.
3. An open and flexible mindset and the company is constantly changing and evolving. 
4. Hands on approach.
