Main responsibilities:

Management and development of one direct report
Full ownership of the general ledger for both the UK and it’s 5 international subsidiaries
Preparation of monthly and annual financial reports
Intercompany reports and reconciliations
Compliance with regulation and all legal requirements, including taxation
Drive process optimisation including automating processes where able

Global Accounting Network are currently partnering with a listed business within the renewable energy sector. With substantial growth happening through global projects, the business is now looking at putting in place new systems and processes in advance to their first audit at the end of next year, of which this role will play a pivotal part. There will be plenty of opportunity for progression and the role to evolve as the business (and ultimately the team) grows. This business is highly flexible and offer a set up of only 1 day a week from the office.

Skills/experience required: •Qualified Accountant •Hands on experience within an industry setting preparing financial accounts •Experience improving processes, with a strong knowledge of what good looks like for a month end process •Confident user of Excel (pivots, lookups, formulae)

Highly desirable: •Experience across multi-currency accounts and intercompany transactions
