Main responsibilities:

Preparation of monthly management accounts including involvement in leading the year end audit
Ownership of the sales & purchase ledgers, managing a team of 4-5 direct reports
Take a leading role in implementing process improvements
Act as deputy to the Group Financial Controller in their absence
Opportunity to be involved in commercial aspects of the finance function as the role progresses

Global Accounting Network is currently partnering with a growing, sociable and fun business based in Central London.

Due to the growth, they are now looking to hire a Finance Manager into a newly created role. Sitting in a broader team of 10, you will be acting as the second in charge to the Group Financial Controller, while managing x5 direct reports.

Skills/experience required:

ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
Experience working in an SME type environment
Broad experience covering both management and financial accounts
Prior or current experience in sales/purchase ledger management
