Main responsibilities:

Work with international subsidiaries to ensure the time and accurate delivery of the monthly management reporting pack
Take ownership of the group cash flow looking at cash movements on the balance sheet
Take a leading role in producing the group’s quarterly and annual reports in line with IFRS standards
Support all year end statutory account preparations
Assist with balance sheet reconciliations for cash
Provide IFRS technical accounting knowledge, in particular IFRS 16
Business partner with the wider finance teams both domestic and internationally
Ad hoc project work within Group Finance

Global Accounting Network are partnering with a PE backed media & entertainment client who are looking for an interim Financial Accountant to join on an initial 6 month contract.

As the Financial Accountant, this is a vital role within the group finance team and will report into the Group Financial Controller but also have plenty of interaction with the Group Finance Director.

Ideal Candidate:

Fully Qualified Accountant
Previous multi-currency consolidation experience is vital
Previous year end and statutory accounting
Excellent technical accounting experience
Strong IFRS knowledge, in particular IFRS 16
