Main responsibilities:

Management and development of a team of x5 direct reports
Ownership of the audit process from both an internal and external perspective
Production of the annual budget, business partnering with stakeholders across the business around their forecast
Development, maintenance and implementation of processes and controls

Global Accounting Network are currently recruiting for an international consultancy business, a market leader in their field.

Due to internal promotions within the team they are now looking to hire a Financial Controller to own the accounting function and manage a team of 5 direct reports.

This is a broad and varied role, with ownership of not only the reporting side but also heavy involvement in the commercial planning cycle and influencing strategic decisions within the business.

Skills/experience required:

ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent desirable

Post-qualified experience in an industry setting, preparing accounts across both the balance sheet and P&L

Experience leading an audit (ideally under UK GAAP)

Experience managing a team with a passion for developing people both personally and professionally
