Main responsibilities:

Drive financial performance across the business.
Effective and robust financial information provided to key stakeholders to assist the business in decision making.
Timely and accurate financial reporting, both internal management reporting and statutory reporting
Assist in key operational activities, such as budgeting, monthly management accounting.
Provides financial analysis and information to facilitate change.
Assist with reviewing and improving internal controls to minimise financial risk, whilst ensuring that accurate financial information is always provided.
Provides analysis and insight that connects financial reporting to strategy.
Assisting integration of acquisitions into the group.

Global Accounting Network are working with this award winning consultancy on the search for their new Financial Controller.

The business have had a very acquisitive few years and have created this new role to support the current finance team of 8. The role is broad and will encompass financial reporting, M&A work, commercial finance and FP&A.

Skills/experience required:

Qualified ACA Accountant
Past audit and assurance background (big 4)
Very strong experience with preparation of monthly management and statutory reporting
Wide finance lens, experience across a variety of financial roles and not shy to get stuck into any finance challenge
