Main responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Produce capital forecasts and ratios for an FCA-regulated entity.
  • Prepare monthly reporting for the UK group, including management accounts and analysis of headcount and operational costs.
  • Lead the forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company objectives.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend identification, and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to translate operational strategies into financial projections.
  • Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to evaluate risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare financial presentations and reports for executive leadership, board meetings, and investors.
  • Act as a point of contact for the Australian group investor relations and finance teams.
  • Perform ad hoc business analysis, including completion trends, product pricing analysis, and unit economics analysis.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced FP&A Manager with a strong focus on financial modelling to join a high-performing finance team. Reporting directly to the CFO, the FP&A Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s financial planning, forecasting, and analysis processes. This position offers the chance to work on impactful projects, including building complex financial models, conducting scenario analysis, and producing insightful financial reports for executive leadership. The role also provides an opportunity to collaborate with global teams and contribute to the strategic direction of the business.

Skills/experience required:

  • Degree in a relevant field.
  • Accounting qualification.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modelling.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including financial modelling and scenario analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of financial statements and accounting fundamentals.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in finance systems such as Dynamics 365, Power BI, and internal data lakes is desirable.
