Main responsibilities:

Preparation of the monthly consolidated accounts, including commentary on transactions
Support on the preparation on the annual budgeting process, including partnering with budget holders around their forecast.
Compliance with regulation and all legal requirements, including tax
Owning the year end audit process, including the preparation of statutory consolidated accounts

Global Accounting Network are currently partnering with a listed business, leading in the medical research space. Due to an internal promotion in the team, they are now looking to hire a Group Financial Accountant.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with a technical background who is looking for large amounts of accountability and responsibility in a broad, hands-on role.

Skills/experience required:

ACA qualified (or equivalent)
Qualified through an audit scheme (such as Big 4)
Experience leading on audits under IFRS
Strong working knowledge of group consolidations
