Main responsibilities:

Take a lead for all statutory and management accounting related activities including month/year end, audits
Own the month end process and review balance sheets ensuring all reconciliations are performed and signed off
Own the year end audit and be the point of contact for the external auditors
Oversee & optimise financial processes, controls and reporting
Drive technical accounting and improvements where possible
Assist with ad hoc finance tasks & projects

Global Accounting Network are partnering exclusively with an exciting insurance client going through a period of change and looking for an interim Financial Controller to support them during year end.

As the Financial Controller, this reports directly into the Group Financial Controller.

Skills/experience required:

Fully Qualified Accountant
Previous experience running a year end audit
Previous ownership of month end
Strong IFRS, UK & US GAAP
Ability to work autonomously
