Senior Accountant

Main responsibilities:

• Full oversight of entity month end close activities and reporting.
• Works closely & in partnership with International US GAAP accounting shared services centre as well as US Headquarters to ensure timely and accurate entity close.
• Completes monthly P&L and balance sheet analytical review with commentary, trend analysis on revenue & close review with FP&A & other key stakeholders.
• Researches and prepares technical accounting position papers on local accounting issues (US GAAP & Local GAAP) as well as impacts to entity of new/changes to accounting standards.
• Ensures implementation of internal controls, facilitates SOx Compliance, including key & non key control report validation.
• Owns and acts as POC for annual statutory audit with external auditors & provides support as required to support regular internal audits.
• Prepares statutory bridge reconciliation from US GAAP to local GAAP on Oracle secondary ledger.
• Owns transfer pricing process for entity, parterns with Corporate Tax team to ensure appropriate agreements in place, highlights & assesses local business changes that may impact current structure & ensuring timely calculation and settlement.
• Drives completion & filings of Indirect Tax/VAT Returns, liaising with external advisors and internal teams where necessary.
• Oversight of Treasury management, FX management & cashflow forecasting.
