Main responsibilities:

Support in the preparation of monthly and annual consolidated accounts
Proactively identify gaps in controls and areas for process improvement
Regularly assess the impact of business changes on the balance sheet/P&L, proactively identifying any areas of risk.

Global Accounting Network are currently partnering with a high growth, tech scaleup who have won multiple awards over the years.

As a part of this growth, they are now looking to hire a Senior Accountant into the group team, into a newly created role.

Alongside the BAU, you will be leading on technical projects and controls, looking at the more complex and high risk areas for the business and assessing any potential impacts.

Skills/experience required:

ACA qualified (or equivalent), through an external audit scheme
Strong technical knowledge, in particular around IFRS 15 and IAS 37
Experience with consolidations
People from an external audit environment looking to make their first move to industry will also be considered
