Main responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review information to support US federal and state tax filings for non-US resident entities and partners.
  • Manage partner profit share ratios, remuneration calculations, and cash flow/tax distribution reconciliations.
  • Reconcile US income tax liabilities and payments, including partner balance sheet accounts and tax reserves.
  • Oversee the preparation and filing of partnership tax returns, K-1s, and other US tax computations.
  • Monitor and reconcile US and non-US partner tax reserves, adjusting for profit fluctuations.
  • Calculate quarterly US tax prepayments and perform state tax and PTET analysis.
  • Coordinate US tax administration, including ITIN applications and IRS information requests.
  • Collaborate with global tax and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate international compliance.
  • Support the preparation of double tax relief claims and other cross-border tax analyses.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects across transfer pricing, withholding tax, and international tax processes.

Required skills/experience:

  • Strong experience managing US federal and state tax compliance, particularly for partnerships or professional services firms.
  • Accounting or tax qualification (ACCA / CIMA / AAT / CTA / ATT).
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and journal entries.
  • Advanced Excel skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience with partnership taxation or cross-border tax matters is highly desirable.
